Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Orchid Software, LLC ("Orchid Software", "we", "us") collects when you use Orchid for Property Management (the "Service" — the Orchid desktop application and its backend), how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed Orchid to handle the minimum data needed to do its job, and to keep your work under your control.
1. Information we collect

Orchid runs the actions you initiate inside your own authenticated sessions in the tools you already use. We do not ask for or store the passwords to those third-party tools.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To run the agent tasks and workflows you initiate.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you create to train our own models.
3. Service providers (subprocessors)
We share data with a small set of vendors strictly to operate the Service. Each processes data only on our instructions:

Content sent to the language-model provider is processed to generate responses for your task and is subject to that provider's enterprise data-handling commitments, including not being used to train its models.
4. Data retention
We keep the content you create (conversations, skills, tasks) for as long as your account is active so you can return to long-running work, and delete it on request or within a reasonable period after account closure. Transient automation data (such as screenshots captured to complete a task) is retained only as long as needed for that task and associated diagnostics, then deleted.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on managed, access-controlled infrastructure. Access to production data is limited to personnel who need it to operate the Service. See our Terms of Service for the full agreement.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may close your account at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@nez.dev.
7. Children
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, where appropriate, a notice in the app.
