Is it safe for my company to install?
Orchid ships as a code-signed Windows installer from a named publisher (Orchid Software), installs per-user without admin rights, and comes with a published privacy policy and license. Does it have access to all my accounts?
Only what you direct it to use, and only through sessions you're already signed in to. You approve consequential actions before they happen, so the agent can't quietly send or change things on its own.
Where does my data go?
Your conversations, skills, and tasks are stored on managed cloud infrastructure to support long-running work. To reason over your requests, relevant context is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. It is not used to train models. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
What does it run on?
Windows. It's a desktop application that installs for the current user, so it doesn't require administrator privileges on a managed machine.
